quite the consummate musician who can break a string in the middle of a beautiful brahms sonata and then, 15 seconds later, simply pick up a colleagues instrument and almost seamlessly begin again right where he left off. i suppose it was fairly kismet that Guillaume Sutre and his violin just happened to be sitting on stage only a few feet away (not a very common place for a not-currently performing musician to be) but bravo to Movses Pogossian & Neal Stulberg for handling themselves so fluidly through such a somewhat unfortunate &, i think (although im not a string player), fairly unusual situation. #thesearethethingsthatdefineprofessionalism #notwoviolinsarethesame
