#shortfilm an dramatic way of descibing todays india.. adding a litttle bit humour by taking fictional charecters .... At 48 hours film competition - Mumbai 2012, Team Postmasters first baby Plight of Ravan won two jury awards : Best Film 1st Runner Up, and Best (Script) Writing Award. It was also Winner of Best Film - Audience Choice Award. For international viewing here we present the English version of the film with a brief background of the plot in the beginning. 48 Hours Film Project (48hourfilm) is a world forum where, in selected 121 cities across the world they hold such competition as described below, and once a year all winning films in each city, compete with each other. Its an annual competition for each city where at the kick-off on a scheduled Friday evening 7pm they give genre (by lottery) and 3 elements (this year a character : Chetan Pal/Chitra Pal - a musician, a prop : Knife and a dialogue line : I will show you how). Within next 48 hours all the registered teams have to create story, write script, arrange for costumes, prepare sets, shoot, edit, dub, score music, mix sound, master the transfer and submit the film at the venue before 7pm sharp on the following Sunday. In 48hfp (48hfp.in) Mumbai 2012, We got Mockumentary as genre (We had to google it to know what it actually means) and had to compete with about 73 teams, out of which 53 films were received. I must say now, that this is the best team I could ever have : Mehul Gori, Rituraj Parihar, Pintu Mishra, Mayur Mange, Annu Poojari, Siddhant Jayant Dalvi, Kshitiz Anand, Abhinav Aserkar, Virupaksha Swami, Pawan Kalra, Aparna Kamath, Sucheta Pande, Pooja Bhanushali, Gauri Kekre and how can Ravan himself be the least, so Ajay Pande. 3 cheers to all..
