so I have arrived in Darwin off the train last night. about 35 deg and humid. hence why I am hiding out in the air conditioned lobby at the moment while its the hottest part of the day. I can seriously recommend The Ghan train from Adelaide to Darwin or vice versa as something for your bucket list. food was exceptional (skippy the kangaroo tastes really good!) and the booze flowed freely. camel ride in alice springs was awesome although it was 40 deg. the Nitmuluk Gorge is spectacular although by lunch time it was 40 deg and humid. will post some photos once I get myself organised.
