so, why is the minister of environment coming? what is the format of this meeting? who can attend? will there be Q&A? is he coming with only information and no official position? this province has passed legislation banning fracking. nova scotians have made it abundantly clear we oppose it with every fibre of our being. they were let in once to do these test wells and look at the mess weve been left with. if you are opposed to fracking, you oppose every single facet of it, including its waste disposal in your water and on your land. you oppose it being trucked over your province. you oppose your town council being paid to take it. you simply cannot have it both ways. its like saying you oppose the death penalty and then marketing electric chairs. there is no fence to sit on. we dont want their waste and no matter how they try to pretty up their toxic mess, we cannot guarantee that it wont harm our environment and our people, and we know they will continue to come here if they get even one small sliver of opportunity. say no.
