some negativity to ponder: i am of the opinion that visual artwork involving representation of exaggerated female eyelashes and eyebrows is masturbatory and too decorative yet repetitive of the modern aesthetic of femininity to have any substantial role in the creative future of culture. i am obviously biased in my discontent with the scribbling of curls and twists which symbolize a femininity too dependent on the opinion of an onlooker, much too pandering to a lustful gaze; - this rejection of the natural societal barbiefication that occurs in so many corners of the world is evidence of my own classism towards those unable to escape the ideological need to self-decorate. after all, todays art walks full of simple oil paintings of a face any sephora employee paints a dozen times a day does have roots in history, extending as far as 1400 bc - the Parisienne fresco is one of the earliest expressions of vain feminine self-decoration known to me.
