The film explores themes of creation and creativity, through a series of exploding sculptural works. The sound artist / musician will respond to the films themes and visual content to create an original soundtrack to accompany the opening credits (ident), main feature and end credits. Individuals and groups of all ages are invited to apply. You must be available to meet Borbonesa in Brighton on a date between the 2–8 December, whilst the animation is being developed, to discuss content and themes and then be free to work either remotely or in close collaboration with the group. The fee is £750 inc. expenses and delivery of music (mastered digital files). Borbonesa is an art company based in Brighton with a background in visual arts, design and bookmaking. In early 2013 the group received ACE funding to invest in film-making equipment, run workshops and create stop-frame animation film.
