The film, which hit cinema screens mid-week on Eid today, opened to 70-per cent occupancy all over India. The film is expected to break Kumar’s previous collections records and is projected to bring the actor the best opening so far. Tradewallahs believe BOSS will enjoy smooth sailing on its first day and ring in impressive returns at the ticket counter. It is also expected to not only enjoy a marvelous five-day weekend but even better numbers next week. Rajesh Thadani, Multimedia Combines, Mumbai BOSS took an opening of 70 per cent all-India but in Mumbai, it opened to only 30 per cent probably due to the Eid celebrations. The afternoon shows and the shows after that should see a healthy growth in numbers. This film is expected to gift Akshay Kumar his best opening day numbers. Brijesh Tandon, H K Tandon and Company, Delhi-UP BOSS opened to 95 per cent occupancy in Delhi- UP and is running house full in most centers, since the morning shows. Being a Haryanvi film and a masala entertainer, audiences love the movie in our region. There is massive advance booking for the evening shows. Expect another blockbuster from Akshay Kumar. Jaspal Dhingra, Nanaskar Enterprise, East Punjab BOSS opened with 90 per cent in East Punjab. This is not just a masala entertainer; the story line is also very strong and so is the music. Even the multiplex audience is whistling and clapping. This film will do brilliant business today. Debashish Dey, Aum Moviez, West Bengal BOSS opened with 50 per cent in our circuit but the report of the film is very good and we are expecting it to run house full by evening shows. Gaurav Gaur, O’Real Imaginations, Rajasthan The movie took a great opening with 70-per cent occupancy. This is huge for the morning show. The film has been allotted more than 100 screens in Rajasthan and there is advance booking for evening and night shows. So, expect a packed week and weekend too. Ravi Machhar, Sahyog Films, Nizam BOSS opened with 65-70 per cent in Nizam, which is a huge number. Half the audience is busy with the Eid celebration and namaaz, so we are expecting 100-per cent occupancy by the evening shows. Jeetu Khandelwal, Pioneer Movies, Orissa BOSS opened with 50 per cent in Orissa. The report of the film is very good and single screens are seeing almost 90-per cent occupancy.
