Data on such sites has revealed a major gap in underground water levels, varying between 16 meters below to 10 meters above average, pointing to compromised underground road support related to the numerous construction projects in the city. Meanwhile, 33.5 percent of 454 natural spring water taps in Seoul failed testing for human consumption.
