the Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, plans to protest Scalise - TopicsExpress

the Million Hoodies Movement for Justice, plans to protest Scalise later on Tuesday when he meets with donors at the members-only Capitol Hill Club, next to the Republican National Committee headquarters. WHAT THE......! Why should he apologize by the way? People of all shades of skin tones need to apologize too in my opinion, some are Black Americans, Africans, Caribbeans, West Indies, etc..were actually enablers too, and profited from the slave trade, so those descendants in my opinion should also sign a citizens declaration of apology. Lets make it fair and stop the inequality on sharing the sentiment of butt hurt and resentment. I dont agree with Scalise on some of his past legislation actions, nor speeches and reasoning but on this one, I sure do. Besides how sincere do you think a FORCED apology and participation really is? Keep it real, this is just more misplaced, time wasting self righteous indignation. Pfffffbt! ...South Carolinas Tim Scott, the first African-American Republican senator elected from the South since Reconstruction, said he recently spoke to Scalise, but wouldnt share details of the conversation. The two served years in the House together, and Scott said he expects that Scalise will be involved in discussions about issues affecting the black community. I think were going to have a robust conversation on income inequality, a robust conversation about sentencing reforms, Scott told The Hill. Theres lots of issues that I think youll find Scalise open to discussing.
