the girl woke up in the middle of the night to reminisce again. she thought she aligned well with artists who were stuck. she knew what it felt like to try so hard to make a name in this little corner of the world. she was not an established artist with thirty years of experience nor was she absolutely new to the entire process. she was not respected because she insisted on this personal artist way of life. she did not want to be professional for she felt so disrespected and isolated by the professional community of artists who support only peers and huddle in that little corner of their universe not to see anything else or anyone else outside of their world having potential. sometimes she felt some professionals had so much pride and prejudice that they could not admit anyone non-professional could give a professional artist some insight instead of the other way around as the professional assumed or was taught.
