the guy goes up to ask you out and you say I like you as a friend. He isnt going to leave? Or never speak to you again? He could just admitted his love to you on a silver platter filled with roses and candy just so that he could get your attention to show you that hes MORE then just a friend. But just because YOU CHOSE that, just because he is a GOOD person, MEANS THAT HE WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS A FRIEND. NOTHING MORE. NOTHING LESS. That good person can become an even BETTER person then your WILDEST dreams if he chose it. If he cared about you as a friend and if you gave him the chance hed still care IN FACT HED CARE EVEN MORE! So it doesnt matter that hes a good person. All that matters to you is that hes a friend and in your eyes thats all he will be. A friend. Now tell me how pathetic and cruel does that sound?
