to heal and to cure are not the same thing. someone can be at stage IV cancer but have come to their own healed state. cure=to be rid of disease. someone may be cured but not healed and vice versa. it would be great to have both. viktor frankl wrote mans search for meaning i would like to rephrase that and say im on a search for healing ----i really dont know if my body can ever be cured with all its missing parts as it will always function differently than a body with all working parts but to be healed may be something within ones reach :)
