This is a war against a nihilistic, barbaric culture of death and destruction, waged by a humanistic society that places the value of life as its highest value. If Israelis are forced to kill, it is because they must do so in order to survive. Life cannot continue under the threat of a constant bombardment of rockets meant to evict the occupier, a phrase which refers to any Jew living anywhere in the Land of Israel.
