we are looking for grails/java developers pls contact me on this email krishna.vasantha@fusiongs Grails/ Java Web Developer Job Description Responsibilities: ● Serve as frontend application engineer for standardsbased web and mobile device applications ● Be the team expert in clientside implementation languages with heavy, heavy emphasis on JavaScript, particularly AngularJS/ jquery. We are not talking about lightweight JavaScript experience here. You have to know how to write it, diagnose problems with it, get around limitations with it, make it more efficient, optimize it and do things with it that push its capability to the limit ● Write semantic markup combined with CSS leading to seamless deployments to todays desktop and mobile browsers ● Translate designs into easytouse and testable product implementations ● Actively participate in product feature and design discussions to help shape products. ● Experience in logistics and supply chain industry is a huge plus Qualifications: ● Passion for developing applications in a Groovy/Grails environment ● Experience in writing scalable responsive web applications ● Solid experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript (specifically jQuery) HTML5/ CSS3 experience is a huge plus. ● Solid Development experience in Java/ J2EE ● Experience with AngularJS, web sockets or atmosphere framework is a huge plus ● Fluency in JDBC, Hibernate, or similar ORM frameworks ● Fluency in Spring or similar dependency injection frameworks ● Experience with web based mapping tools such as google maps is a huge plus ● Fluency with both unix and windows system is a plus ● BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience ● Knowledge of shell and other scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Scala, Erlang or Ruby) is a plus ● Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including nontechnical ● Strong technical and design skills ● Self motivated, with the ability to work in a fastpaced, higheffort, dynamic work environment, and ability to drive features to delivery
