...... we said it would be open season on black men (and women too) after George Z. was acquitted of the murder of Trayvon. Everyone has a choice on how they react to this harsh reality you can stop watching the news since it gives you the blues, pray on it while they continue to prey on you & yours, get involved, or get involved & come up with a viable plan in case the shit thats going on in #Ferguson spreads to your area. As a single mom to a son its my responsibility to protect him, regardless of the fact that hes friends with cops, hell when the cops are faced with a group of black people, Im wise enough to know theres no distinguishing him..... hes just another nigga in the crowd. When the Trayvon verdict was read I promptly deleted all of the white people off my page; Why? While they were empathetic I knew they could never understand my hurt & rage no matter how I explained it; and then at the end of the day they would never have to have the talk with their sons/children.............then technically its their sons killing our black sons. Now here we are 2 years later experiencing the same thing...... And depending on the same corrupt ass legal system to bring us justice & watching the media using old images of a dead kid as a way of justifying his murder.
