well, yesterday turned out to be quite a odd. I use my truck to make money. I get paid by the job,not by the hour. so the more efficient I am, the better. Yesterday, I was at least one hour ahead of schedule, when I ran over a huge screw. I paniced. the truck was doing fine, but I bought fixaflat anyway, thinking it would seal around the screw, so i could prevent a blowout. Instead, it managed to push the screw out of the tire. Fortunately, I was in front of a Circle K. took me 2 more cans to get going. I lost my hour advantage, but I was mobile. 5 stops later, i noticed the air was coming out of the tire again, but as it was going lower, i noticed the tire sidewall was splitting. not just in one area, but all around the circumference. i decided to take the truck back to the place I had bought it, because that sidewall should never have split. stopping every 2 o 4 miles, i made it back to the tire place..CLOSED....crap.. house was right around the corner, went home and gothe smaller SUV.. now I am 4 hours behind my normal pace. had to go back and reload the SUV. by the time i had finished, it was friday afternoon like 3 and i had started at 11 last night. Turns out both back tire sidewalls were toast and had i not had a screw in the tire, it could have been worse. poor truck, it is aging, lost one headlight, the ac stopped working, while in idle and now, TIRES. got everything fixed, i would be mad, if the truck did not make me so much money... but TGIF was not ordr of the day yesterday. TGIS and yesterdays over.
