ya Who!!!!!!! I just got my sax back from being totally overhauled. My 1952 Selmer Super Action,(Super Balanced Action)#50,*** had never been overhauled. I played the shit out of it, until it would no longer even play...I bought it in 1979 for $400,and it was mint then...the original owner was a friend of my great uncle Al (Born 1912) and my dad, (Born 1939) who both played gigs With him( Paul Licata ) in the mid 1950s...The over haul cost me around $650 plus tax...so it came to about $700....the coolest thing was the repair technician was able to reuse my original metal selmer tone boosters so they fit perfectly. My horn is off the charts now!!!!!!!....It has never played like this....I am freaking out, I using my brothers old metal otto link super tone master 8, made in the mid 1960s,It like johnny griffin , or lock jaw!!!!!
