yet another one of my ideas published by some super geek at a fancy pants school. his is obviously more scientifically supported, mine more theory. but the part he didnt include was the 1st law of thermodynamics which includes the principle that matter can neither be created or destroyed, implying that there is a finite amount of energy in the universe. likewise my theory stated that similarly, there is a finite amount of consciousness in the universe and as the population and biodiversity increases that consciousness is stretched thinner and thinner, making humans more and more stupid as our finite pool of conscious energy is fractured into more and more (disconnected) pieces. the only way to increase our consciousness is through connection to one another.
