your vocabulary will improve in leaps and bounds if you follow a few simple tips... keep a pen and register handy to note the words you do not understand be diligent and put a date on top of the page to remember how many unfamiliar words you come across in one day... writing down the words fixes them in your "floating vocabulary" make a target for 10 new words for 300 days everyday that gives you a vocabulary of approximately 3000 words to retrieve, access and use in times of need...all you need to do is take a glance at the register you have been building up
