That in itself (math and engineering as the ultimate intellectual achievement) might well be a very patriarchal notion. (I’m crap at those, and I’ve always intuitively and happily thought of myself as very feminine in those and, actually, many other traits). Why is Linguistics for example -masivelydominated by women - supposed to be less intellcetually significant…?
