قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و آله و صحبه و سلم : ( لا يأكُلنَّ أحدٌ مِنكُم بشمالِهِ ولا يَشربنَّ بِها فإنَّ الشَّيطانَ يأكُلُ بشِمالِهِ ويشرَبُ بِها ) رواه مسلم The prophet(pbuh) said: ( You must neither eat nor drink by the left hand because the devil eats and drinks by it.) Narrated by Muslim
