To The Director, World Health Organisation New Delhi, India India is the only country where, in the name of social justice, incapable individuals are able to get admission into medical colleges because of quota reservation and are becoming doctors. Consequently, innumerable lives have been lost in the last 65 years. Indian Government is directly responsible for these deaths since this has been the prevalent policy. These individuals constitute major Vote Bank and in a multi party political system they are crucial for both winning elections and forming government. This is a gross violation of basic right to live of Indians belonging to all caste, creed and religion. This policy should be abolished immediately. Interestingly, Indian Government itself realises the adverse impact of this policy and has kept Defence, Judiciary etc. out of the purview of quota reservation. Medical services being crucial to human lives, it is important that only capable individuals be able to become qualified doctors. You are requested to take up the issue with Indian Government and ensure quota system be abolished from Medical colleges failing which, the international community be involved to stop this violation of human right
